KakiSo Pvt. Ltd. – B2B2C E-commerce Marketplace
KakiSo Pvt. Ltd. is committed to protecting the intellectual property rights of writers, businesses, and brands. We are a B2B2C platform that helps suppliers list their goods and resellers place orders, which they then distribute with their own customers.
This policy explains how we handle complaints about copyright violations in a way that follows Indian law and best practices for digital commerce.
1. What counts as a KakiSo copyright violation?
Here are some examples of copyright infringement, however they are not the only ones:
Using movies, logos, or pictures from protected products without permission.
Copying and pasting product descriptions, brand names, or marketing materials.
Identifying things that are stolen or fake and violate the rights of the people who made them.
Using another company’s packaging or logo in a bad way.
2. What resellers and suppliers are responsible for
Suppliers are responsible for ensuring sure they have the right to post and use any content (such photographs, videos, trademarks, descriptions, and packaging designs) that is in their product listings.
Resellers can’t break copyright or trademark laws by modifying or lying about the brand, product identification, or advertising materials for the products on the list.
3. Making a report of a copyright violation
If you think that KakiSo has utilized your copyrighted content without your permission, you can file a complaint by sending an email to [email protected] with the following information:
Your full name and how to get in touch with you.
A description of the copyrighted work that is said to have been violated.
URLs or screenshots of the product listing that is breaking the law.
Proof of who owns the content or what its legal status is.
A signed statement that says:
“I am the rightful owner of the copyright or the person they have chosen to represent them. I know that making false claims could get me in legal trouble, so I believe that the information in this notice is truthful and accurate.
4. What We Do After Getting a Real Complaint
We will let you know that we got the report and start the evaluation process within three to five business days.
If the content is found to be infringing, the supplier or reseller may lose access to the platform for a short or long time, and the listing in question may be taken down or put on hold.
The affected person will be able to respond with proof of ownership or consent after being told.
5. Policy on Repeated Violations
If suppliers or resellers are found to be infringing copyright rules on a regular basis, they will face:
Account suspension for good.
If Indian law says so, take legal action.
Letting the proper law enforcement or regulatory bodies know.
6. Disclaimer: KakiSo is an intermediary platform under the Information Technology Act of 2000 and its rules. We are not legally compelled to actively monitor content, but we are committed to responding to legitimate takedown requests quickly and responsibly.
